Armour Joint and telescopic covers both protect machine ways, but they are built differently and suit different applications.
Armour Joint
Uses hinged, articulated steel plates. Well suited to heavier-duty applications and machines exposed to larger chips or harsher coolant conditions, thanks to its rigid plate construction.
Telescopic Covers
Uses nested, sliding steel sections. Common on lighter-duty and higher-speed applications where a lower profile or higher travel speed is needed.
